Fright Fest 2016! — October 28, 2016

Fright Fest 2016!

We went to Pickard’s Annual Fright Fest Thursday Night! They had an awesome haunted trail, a very tricky escape room which was filled of riddles that had to be solved in order to get out. These riddles really made you think outside the box. After saying the riddle, you had to search around the room for clues. They had items scattered all over the place to hint the solution. After the haunted trail, they brought us in for snacks! Had a great time and it was for a great cause. All proceeds went to the Wounded Warrior Project.

United We Stand- Standup for Peace — October 3, 2016

United We Stand- Standup for Peace

The best way to start a conversation is with laughter.

Scott Blakeman and Dean Obeidallah want to build bridges, promote tolerance and encourage conflict resolution between Jews, Muslims, Arabs and people of all backgrounds and religions.

Standup for Peace is the disarmingly funny comedy show that breaks new ground by finding common ground.

For the past thirteen years, Scott and Dean have brought campuses and communities together by standing up for tolerance, peace and understanding.

Because if we can laugh together, we can live together.

One thing I got out of this was that laughter really does bring people together. No matter where you’re from, who you are, laughter brings out the best out of everyone.
