RHA’s Thanksgiving Charity Drive is going on this week. All money goes to the Grant County Humane Society and Got Your 6. Come down to the front desk to donate your pennies for positive points and other coins and dollars are for negative points. So load up your favorite RA’s bin with pennies and try to get others out! Two RA’s will be eliminated every night with the lowest amount of points.
We went to Pickard’s Annual Fright Fest Thursday Night! They had an awesome haunted trail, a very tricky escape room which was filled of riddles that had to be solved in order to get out. These riddles really made you think outside the box. After saying the riddle, you had to search around the room for clues. They had items scattered all over the place to hint the solution. After the haunted trail, they brought us in for snacks! Had a great time and it was for a great cause. All proceeds went to the Wounded Warrior Project.
This Saturday, the Automotive Enthusiast Club (AEC) held their annual Fall Car show. We admired the cars, talked with their owners, discussed the work that has been done, and the similarities and differences between the car cultures. Import or Tuner, Muscle or Domestic, Truck/off road. Each culture has its own definition and followings. These car clubs and car shows being these people together and talk about their stories, struggles, trips, achievements, and we drove out to the “M” to take their new group photo. Looking forward to next semesters car show!
